COMANCO Environmental has begun a Geosynthetics installation project at a landfill in Central Florida. The team is installing over 1,563,000 SF of 60-mil textured HDPE liner, 777,700 SF of GCL, and 1,531,500 SF of 200-mil Geocomposite for a cell expansion. This project is a 5-layer system with GCL, Secondary 60 mil liner, Secondary Geocomposite, Primary Liner and Primary Geocomposite.
The 20 man crew is led by Superintendent Tony Sanchez and Project Manager Bill Gau. The crew performed a thorough job walk, going over all aspects of the project, with the Superintendent and the Project Manager on site. The team covered deployment plan, safety hazards and site conditions.
Today, the crew began deployment of the 60-mil Textured HDPE secondary layer. Please enjoy some of the photos from the first few days on site.
