Last Thursday, COMANCO Controller Stephen Curcio attended an exclusive PCEDC meeting with other local businesses to listen to Plant City Managers on the progress and development of Plant City. Jake Austin, President of PCEDC, led the discussion highlighting the goals and future of Plant City. Two items that stood out as goals for Plant City were the increase of new jobs by local businesses and attracting new business to the city.
Newly elected, City Manager Bill McDaniel spoke and highlighted how Plant City has streamlined the permit process to make it easier and faster for businesses to apply for permits.
Other topics of discussion included an update on city projects like road resurfacing, utility improvements, residential development, industrial development, and other major projects that impact our community and our businesses.
