COMANCO Gains Another Licensed Drone Pilot. Congratulations Hugo Campos!
COMANCO congratulates Hugo Campos for recently completing the Fowado Unmanned Systems Commercial Drones 101 Training and for passing the US DOT Federal Aviation Administration Airman Knowledge Exam. Hugo is now a licensed drone pilot, and his skills will be valuable to COMANCO’s QA/QC team.
Drones are becoming increasingly popular in the construction industry, as they offer many advantages over traditional data collection and inspection methods. For example, drones can fly over difficult-to-access areas, capture high-resolution images and videos, and generate accurate three-dimensional maps. This data will improve quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes, identify potential safety hazards and track project progress. Additionally, drones are battery-operated, meaning they are environmentally friendly.
Hugo’s skills as a drone pilot will allow COMANCO to leverage this technology to enhance its QA/QC processes. With his certification, he can use drones to conduct on-site aerial inspections, collect data on material quantities and stockpiles, and identify potential safety hazards.
