Within the past week, COMANCO was able to complete a restoration project on an outfall pond in Central Florida. The 4-man crew, led by Supervisor Justino Macedo, was tasked with reinforcing an existing berm that was damaged by Hurricane Irma and upgrading the discharge pipes. Onsite fill material was hauled and placed by COMANCO to add stability to the berm, and a liner seep shield was installed to prevent future washouts. The crew then extended two existing HDPE discharge pipes and added risers to help avoid normal wear and tear. COMANCO was able to complete this project ahead of schedule, under budget, and most importantly incident free for a valued customer. EXCELLENT WORK!
