COMANCO completed the first of many Fabriform installations at a gyp stack expansion project in North Florida. The Fabriform will serve as erosion control around the cleanouts and outlet pipes for the gyp stack’s drainage system. Led by Foreman Jesus Delgado, a four-man crew was able to prepare the subgrade, install a layer of geotextile, a layer of the Fabriform material, and fill the Fabriform with grout in just two days, all while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The crew utilized all of the advances in modern technology, including a GPS-equipped Excavator and spotter with a GPS rover, to ensure that all of the work performed met the Engineer’s specifications.
