COMANCO has begun the installation of sheet piling around the future leachate sump locations at the Polk County NCLF Phase V Expansion. The first of three areas to be sheeted is underway. The sheeting will allow COMANCO employees to safely access/install 28′ leachate manholes 25′ below existing ground level. Prior to the start of work, COMANCO held several onsite planning meetings and conducted a site walk with the crew installing the sheeting. Proper planning allows for safe execution of tasks.
