COMANCO IT Manager Matt DiTarando attended Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Basic Training in Clermont, Florida this week. UAVs are swiftly becoming the Swiss army knife of the construction site as they are used for Safety, Marketing, Surveying, Mapping, Volume, Quantity and Precise Measurement.
The training, conducted by Dart Drones utilized licensed pilot flight instructors and covered all the bases from the legal implications all the way to pre and post flight operation of some of the most popular models of drones. Each student got plenty of “stick-time” piloting a Phantom 3 Professional Drone from DJI Drones and came away with the basic foundation for piloting these high-tech aircraft.
