COMANCO Fleet crews have the responsibility for maintaining all the grounds at our Plant City Headquarters. After Hurricane Irma roared through Plant City, there was plenty of debris and damage to contend with for our grounds crew. Immediately following the storm, our crews were raking, cleaning, shoveling and dealing with downed trees. All this cleanup did its own damage, and today our crew was dealing with sod damage from heavy equipment. A large load of soil was brought in to fill in the rough spots left over from the earlier repair crews.
Everyone joins in during these operations, and Earl Lynch, Trevor Topp, Sam Smith and Adan Loza were busy throughout the morning moving soil into place with a skid steer, rakes, shovels and lots of manual labor.
