COMANCO is making progress on a supplemental drainage system at a Central Florida Chemical Facility. Superintendent Gary Mitchell and Supervisor Justino Macedo lead a 15-man crew that has been busy installing 7,500 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE slotted pipe. The crew uses a HDPE Pipe Fusion MACHINE with a data logger to ensure each weld is of the highest quality. Once the pipe is welded, it is sewn between two layers of single-sided geocomposite. The crew will take advantage of COMANCO’s dedication to technological advances by using a GPS excavator to achieve a proper grade. Continue to check for updates as the drainage system progresses.
