This week through a partnership with Nortrax Southeast, John Deere Electrical Systems training was provided to COMANCO technicians at the COMANCO Headquarters in Plant City, FL. The class was led by Steve Barker, John Deere certified technical trainer and Trevor Cawley, Nortrax service manager. The training focused on several key technical aspects of troubleshooting and repairing John Deere equipment with an overall emphasis on the electrical systems. COMANCO technicians were instructed in more effective techniques to fully utilize the onboard controller in diagnosing equipment issues. Juan Gonzalez, one of COMANCO’s Heavy Equipment Mechanics attending the training said that this system specific task focused training on controllers and equipment monitors will enable him to diagnose many issues more quickly and with a greater degree of accuracy. With our large Deere fleet, all COMANCO technicians will greatly benefit from the increased troubleshooting skills and knowledge provided by the in-depth training.
