COMANCO Works on Slope Closure Liner Install for Gypsum Stack
Under the expert guidance of Superintendent Alejandro, COMANCO is currently installing a slope closure liner for a gypsum stack in Florida. The team is meticulously installing a high-performance liner system on the west and north sides of the stack.
This ambitious project involves installing approximately 1.2 million SF of liner across four different ditches. The liner will also be extended along the road bordering the ditches, creating a comprehensive environmental shield against rainwater infiltration.
The liner chosen for the project is a 60mil HDPE Agru Microspike liner, known for its exceptional durability and textured surface that enhances slope stability.
This project highlights COMANCO’s commitment to environmental responsibility. The installed liner system will act as a vital barrier, preventing rainwater from potentially contaminating the surrounding soil and groundwater.
In addition to the liner installation, our team also provides time and materials (T&M) services, ensuring efficient relocation of liner rolls, careful liner exposure and cleaning, and meticulous subgrade and surface water control maintenance.
Our team has installed approximately 466,000 SF of liner, representing 38% of the project’s completion. We remain committed to delivering a high-quality solution on schedule.
