The COMANCO team began a project last month on a holding pond in Central Florida. The intent of this project is to install a spray evaporation field in the holding pond, and COMANCO is performing the site work which includes: clearing and stripping; general site cut and fill; building crushed concrete access roads throughout the site as well as a crushed concrete pump/filter station; excavation of an equalization channel to promote flow through different parts of the pond; permanent sediment and erosion control; and general grassing. The first phase of this project is nearly complete with the team being led by Bill Newman, Superintendent; Dragan Milosavljevic, Project Manager; and Project Engineers Nick Bridges, Mohammad Lutfiyya, and Greg Pignataro.
