COMANCO has recently begun a manhole adjustment project at a Central Florida chemical facility. Superintendent Jeremy Giles is leading the crew as they begin work. COMANCO’s scope of work for this project entails welding a riser system inside of the manholes, made up of 12” HDPE pipe in various lengths welded to PVC couplers or elbows, to the existing 12” HDPE pipe. The riser system will help control water flow around the gypstack.
COMANCO is following all the confined space requirements by utilizing a confined space attendant, air ventilation system, air monitoring, and a 5-Piece Davit Rescue system. Please enjoy some photos of the project as it takes off.
