COMANCO has been working steadily on the new entrance road at a landfill in central Florida. The project started back in June and is getting closer to completion as each month passes. Recently, the soil surcharge that COMANCO was contracted to place has run its course and expedited the consolidation process to protect our customer’s future investments. We are in the process of removing the surcharge material, and are working to complete the final 10% of subgrade for the entrance road. Coming up in the next few weeks, we expect to place a precast concrete stormwater manhole, start placing limerock road base, and we have scheduled the scale house and scale concrete foundation crew to be onsite, the local electric provider to move power poles and run new underground power through the three (3) phase conduit that COMANCO placed, and the local internet and phone provider to be onsite to hook up their new lines. Soon after those items are completed, COMANCO will be completing the sod, guardrails, and asphalt paving. Enjoy some of the aerial photos that were at the end of last week!
