Repair Project for FL Landfill – COMANCO
A COMANCO crew recently completed a repair project for a landfill in southwest Florida, and as a part of the scope – replaced old and rusted pipe supports with field fabricated HDPE stands.
The former supports had deteriorated over time, and the new HDPE pipe will provide the landfill with a cleaner, long lasting product that will not rust or decay.
The crew was able to replace the stands and utilize HDPE flat stock and 316 stainless steel anchor bolts to secure the new stands on the existing pad. The stands now match the pipe material at the pump station to give a rejuvenated look to the area.
