COMANCO continues to progress toward completion of new Multi-Layered Landfill Expansion Project in Central Florida. Superintendent Chase Yarbrough along with Foreman Matt Carroll have been leading the earthwork crew as they have begun placing a 2-foot protective sand cover layer over the liner containment system. Foreman Gerardo Ruiz and the liner crew continue to lay the primary layer of geocomposite drainage net ahead of the sand crew. Teamwork is the name of the game during this phase as the two crews work to cover up the cell. Check back for future updates as more activities are scheduled to begin.
