On Monday, July 9, 2012, the COMANCO team took delivery of the blower/flare station and skid pad at the Polk County North Central Landfill. The candlestick flare is approximately 40 feet tall, and a crane was used on-site to unload the entire pad onto a gravel bed. The system is part of the landfill gas collection and conveyance system that will be completed by the end of this year.
