COMANCO Employees attend a 10-hour Occupational Safety and Health Training Course in Construction Safety & Health on July 25-26, facilitated by Safety Solutions & Supply, Tim Burton & David Cook.
The OSHA 10-hour course includes: Introduction to OSHA, Crane Operations, Material Handling, Welding & Cutting, Hand & Power Tools, Scaffolds, Excavations, Hazardous Communications (Haz Com), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Fall Hazards, Struck-By Hazards, Caught-In or Between, Electrocution Hazards, and Health Hazards in Construction. All of these things will help our workforce to develop a safety mindset and learn valuable skills for the future.
The mission of OSHA is to save lives, prevent injuries and protect the health of America’s workers. To that end, one of the goals here at COMANCO is to have 100% of field personnel certified with OSHA 10 credentials.
