During large piping projects, stored energy is a serious safety issue. COMANCO’s commitment to safety necessitated the procurement of a large grapple to ensure the safety of our employees in the field. A grapple that is sufficiently large enough to absorb and retain the stored energy in large pipe lengths was put into testing and found to be sufficient to maintain a safe installation envelope.
The equipment required significant restoration to be “COMANCO” grade equipment. COMANCO’s Fleet Department was up to the task, and our resident refurbishment specialist Earl Lynch took on this specialized equipment restoration task with gusto!
Earl outdid himself once again on this project and delivered a “like new” Grapple for use in the field. Earl knows COMANCO has a reputation for quality and his work is an integral part of maintaining that reputation.
