Last week, Safety Solution and Supply provided CPR and First Aid Safety Training for a group of employees at COMANCO. There are many things involved in a CPR class, proper technique, when to perform, when to stop, how to keep yourself safe, when to call 9-1-1 and how to prepare mentally. First Aid teaches basic skills if an accident happens. The COMANCO employees passed their certification with flying colors.
In addition to CPR training, COMANCO prepares new hires for their first day on the job site with Task Training. This was taught by Equipment Technician Samuel Smith, this type of work includes the use of the extruder, wedge, and filling sandbags. All of COMANCO’s employees are kept up-to-date with annual refresher classes. Training is a way of life at COMANCO.
