A group of newly hired employees began an MSHA New Miner Training course today at COMANCO. The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) requires any newly employed, inexperienced miner to complete a 24 hour training prior to working at any mining operation. At COMANCO the course is broken down into three days of training. After completing the MSHA New Miner course they will continue with other training here at COMANCO providing them with knowledge on safety, procedures and regulations so they can work safely and efficiently out in the field.
