Yesterday, COMANCO was visited by John Deere’s Jena Holtberg-Benge Director of Worksight & Foresight, David Thorne Director of Global Marketing & Support, Brad Butler Nortrax General Manager, and Scott McGuigan Nortrax Vice President. The visit is to continue COMANCO’s participation in the WorkSight Customer Advocacy Group (CAG) which aides John Deere with their future software projects.
After a brief meeting, our guests enjoyed a guided tour of COMANCO’s headquarters which was directed by COMANCO IT Manager Matt DiTarando and IT Support Specialist Mark Milford. The meeting began with a presentation from Bob Lung, COMANCO QA/QC Manager. Bob shared his vast knowledge of the industry and gave a demonstration of COMANCO’s CAAB program, a proprietary computer program, (Computer Aided As-built), developed by COMANCO.
COMANCO Jr. Estimator Mohamad Lutfiyya gave a brief demonstration on how COMANCO utilizes AGTEK and was joined by Superintendent Nathan Wilfong who explained the value of the AGTEK final product and the collaboration between estimating, project management, and business development.
COMANCO Safety Director Carlos Campos talked to the group about the technology used to help reduce speeding while driving company vehicles, the importance of equipment maintenance & inspections, quarterly employee safety bonuses and the possibility of adding object locators to our equipment.
COMANCO HR & Safety Director Harry Pasquale and Fleet Supervisor Tony Cole gave a tour of the COMANCO Fleet Department. COMANCO’s Fleet Technician David Sichtermann gave the group a brief overview of COMANCO’s exclusive 5-station Tensiometer which allows 10 peels and 5 sheer tests which can be run and documented by one person in as quickly as five minutes. This was followed by a brief demonstration of how COMANCO utilizes HCSS Dispatcher to track all the equipment used on COMANCO projects.
COMANCO values the close relationship it continues to build upon with John Deere and Nortrax and looks forward to the continued use of Deere equipment, software and services on COMANCO job sites nationwide.
