The exterior of the new Operations Building at the Hernando County NW Landfill is getting its final touches. The building is in the process of getting a Sto Corp stucco system – which is more powerful than conventional stucco – and a Stolit Lotusan finish. The finish coat a ready-mixed exterior textured finish that mimics the self-cleaning capabilities of the lotus leaf. Replicating the lotus plant’s ability to send raindrops rolling gently off its leaves, Stolit® Lotusan® resists dirt pick up while keeping walls clean and attractive. Meanwhile, the inside of the building is coming together as well. The interior framing and rough-ins have been completed, and drywall work is well underway.
