Yesterday, Superintendents Chris Sowers and Nathan Wilfong along with operator Brandon Sowers, safely and efficiently fused large diameter HDPE pipe and worked as a team to lift it as it got built for placement in order to move leachate water to a collection facility.
Both Nathan and Chris, who are certified to operate a McElroy Pipe Fusion Machine and Data Logger, put SAFETY, QUALITY, and SERVICE first by successfully demonstrating how COMANCO gets it done. They developed a safe plan, followed it by using hand signals, verbal communication, and safe lifting techniques during their operation. As well as utilizing a remote control McElroy large diameter pipe fusion machine.
