COMANCO Environmental was invited to the Dobbs Equipment facility in the Tampa area this week to showcase John Deere’s latest equipment technology. The Dobbs personnel started the demo with compact track loaders featuring enhanced lift height and increased tipping capacity. Also demonstrated were large excavators with intelligent engine/hydraulic management systems to ensure increased productivity. The COMANCO associates attending the event were Tony Cole (Fleet Supervisor), AJ Diaz (Rental Coordinator), Jon Hosmer (Heavy Equipment Technician), and Juan Gonzalez (Heavy Equipment Technician).
They were also shown some of the John Deere mobile Apps that they were able to begin using immediately. One of the applications known as PowerAssist allows our technicians to scan the bar-code on equipment to retrieve parts manuals, drawings, and other information specific to that machine. This will remove any ambiguity in the process and ensure that our technicians are getting the correct parts. To finish off a great event, our guys had the opportunity to push some dirt with a John Deere 850K SmartGrade dozer.
