COMANCO has been working on a design-build project for the Orange County Eastern Water Reclamation Facility. The project consists of designing the complete liner system for a 30 acre Reject Water Holding Pond, including all detailed connections to new and existing structures, anchor trench, pipe boots, final grading of the pond bottom and cover soil, all liner appurtenances, and the gas collection and relief system. The design is nearly completed and ready for approval. The installation is anticipated to begin in first quarter 2016. The design-build of the reject pond is part of a larger contract issued by Orange County for the Water Reclamation Facility Phase V Improvements, which will increase the treatment capacity by approximately 20 million gallons per day at the facility.
