COMANCO Environmental continues work on a landfill closure project located in Pontiac, Illinois. To date, the crew has deployed over 1,300,000 SF of 40mil textured LLDPE liner and 890,000 SF of 250mil DS geocomposite. The crew has also installed over 85 pipe boots.
The 23 man crew is led by Superintendents Leroy Smith and Jorge Gomez. The crew has done a great job of working safely and efficiently despite the many difficulties the project entails. They have faced constant rains and high winds causing the crew to take extensive measures to ensure the protection of the deployed materials. Great job Leroy, Jorge, and crew on maintaining a positive attitude while performing with COMANCO’s core values of SAFETY ★ QUALITY ★ SERVICE.
