COMANCO crews are hard at work installing geosynthetics for a new landfill cell in East Texas. COMANCO is currently installing a new 5 acre, 3 layer, 6 material geosynthetic system as a part of a landfill expansion in northeast Texas. The crews led by Superintendent Larry Graham and Leroy Smith have been working to ensure the GCL (geosynthetic clay liner) and 60mil HDPE liner are installed and complete ahead of the typical summer rains. The geocomposite layer will be installed on top of the liner and tied into the existing cells to complete the project.
