Recognizing very early on that TECHNOLOGY would play a vital role in our industry, COMANCO embraced it and has been developing GPS as-builts and automated QA/QC tracking for close to 10 years, whereas some contractors are just beginning to understand the value of automated QA/QC systems.
Geosynthetics were first used as filters here in the US and as reinforcements in Europe as documented in the 1960s. With the use of new technology, the once old, inconsistent installation practice has now evolved into a proven and effective investment value for both contractors and owners. As part of this new technology, COMANCO trademarked and began utilizing our Computer Aided As-Built (CAAB™) program back in 2009. COMANCO continually develops innovative ways to accelerate installations while still producing some of the lowest seam failure rates in the industry; < 1%.
