COMANCO is proud to announce the successful completion of a recent wastewater pond liner expansion project. This project involved the installation of a high-quality 40mil HDPE double-sided textured black liner supplied by Skaps.
Scope of Work
The project focused on constructing a critical pond lining system within the expanded wastewater treatment facility. The COMANCO crew expertly installed a total of 417,289.77 SF of 40mil textured HDPE liner and 22 pipe boots.
Unique Challenges
This wastewater pond liner expansion project presented unique challenges due to its complex design. The pond incorporated multiple berms, creating intersections within the lining system. Additionally, the presence of swales crossing over some of the berms added further complexity to the installation.

Sinkhole activity at the site impacted the project schedule, creating a tighter timeframe for COMANCO to complete the scope of work.
