COMANCO has recently started the liner installation project of a landfill cell in West Arizona. This cell construction project involves the installation of nearly 202,000 SF of 60mil HDPE textured liner and 191,000 SF of geosynthetic clay liner (GCL). Once the cell construction is complete, the crew will then start the installation for a 1.3-acre septic pond comprised of a three layer geosynthetic liner system. This three layer system consists of a primary 60mil HDPE textured liner, geosynthetic clay liner (GCL), and secondary 60mil textured liner.
Superintendent, Tony Sanchez, and his 10-man crew are off to a great start while maintaining a safe and efficient manner of work. We look forward to seeing the progression of this project.
