COMANCO has officially been awarded the Leon County Class I Landfill Closure project. The project consists of the closure of the Leon County Class I South Landfill. The Class III South landfill is adjacent to the Class I II-D cell and will be included as part of Class I final closure system. The work will consist of site access roads, stormwater drainage facilities, earthwork and the installation of a passive gas extraction system, earthwork, trenching, soil erosion & sedimentation control, sodding, hydroseeding, the installation of LLDPE Geomembrane Liner & Geocomposite, HDPE Pipe and corrugated Polyethylene Pipe installation.
