COMANCO has officially been awarded the Seminole County, Osceola Road Landfill Scale House, and Entrance Road Improvements project.
The project consists of the following:
- Construction of the scale house, scales, and entrance road in a phased process to maintain the traffic flow and continued landfill operations.
- Construction of a by-pass road to allow for continued traffic flow during all phases of the project.
- Install canopy at the scale house (Contractor is responsible for obtaining a separate building permit for the canopy).
- Construct the scale house and scales with power, phone and telemetry conduits for electrical and communication services for the scales and scale house.
- Install the connection of the waterline/service to the scale house.
- Install the septic tank, pump(s) and leaching field as well as the abandonment of the old system.
- Demolition of the existing scale house and scales and install the new scales.
- Remove construction debris to the designated locations.
- Install sod to re-vegetate the area of construction.
- Maintain erosion control barriers throughout the project.
