COMANCO Environmental recently reached another major milestone on the gypsum stack project on the east coast. After months of hard work and dedication, the liner and drain installation is now complete on the entire 92 acre stack. Total liner installation was nearly four million square feet, and total drain installation was over 25,000 linear feet (nearly five miles). In addition to the liner and pipe, COMANCO also installed eight 48″ sumps and 16 seepshield applications.
Throughout the entire project, the crew has provided quality work in a safe, efficient manner. The remaining work for this project includes installation of approximately 8,000 linear feet of drain, and 500,000 square feet of textured liner in the ditch around the perimeter of the gypsum stack.
