A COMANCO crew has been working on restoring the top gradient of a gypsum stack at a Central Florida chemical plant since August of this year. The 15-acre site required movement of different types of aggregate and pipe, general grading, an extension of monitoring wells, and liner installation.
The crew will be finishing up liner on the upper area by the end of the week and will complete the rest of the liner the following week. Work is scheduled to complete by December, and this crew is being led by Superintendent Chase Yarbrough, Earthwork Foreman Justino Macedo, and Liner Foreman Max Macedo.
