COMANCO Environmental is in the middle of a gas collection system project at a C & D Landfill in Punta Gorda, FL. Superintendent, Chase Yarbrough, and a small crew are installing approximately 1,800 LF of HDPE horizontal pipe to enhance the site’s gas collection efficiency. The pipe is being installed in a gravel trench wrapped in a geotextile then being capped with an HDPE liner to help eliminate odor. Import fill is being placed, graded and sodded over the top of the trench to help with getting stormwater off the site.
