A COMANCO crew led by Martin Calderon continues to make progress on the next phase at the Mississippi EPA Superfund Site.

The scope of work includes installing over 2 million SF of ClosureTurf ® system that will help minimize maintenance on the site for years to come. The scope of work also includes installing over 42,000 SF of HydroBinder across eight down drains. The ClosureTurf ® system consists of a bottom layer of 50mil LLDPE Super Gripnet Geomembrane, a top layer of engineer turf, and a specified in-fill placed over and groomed into the engineered turf. So far, the crew has installed almost 550,000 SF of 50mil Super Gripnet and over 30,000 SF of engineered turf. The crew is off to a great start while keeping SAFETY #1.
