COMANCO subcontractor, Trader Construction, recently reached a milestone by completing protective cover on the top cells of a North Florida Gypsum stack Closure project.
The top cell gypstack closure consists of 162 acres of 18” sand tailings and 6” soil cover. Trader Construction completed this operation in coordination with the COMANCO safety field team. The crew remained in constant radio and hand signal communication while operating the 40-ton haul trucks.
