COMANCO is currently finalizing the remaining items required to achieve Final Completion on the Hillsborough Heights Leachate Management System. This project proved trying at times, but was a prime example of how working together as a team can lead to success. Using great communication and safety practices, the crew, led by Superintendent Charlie Ingle was able to finish without any incidents or recordables. COMANCO installed over 2400 LF of HDPE forcemain piping leading from a new dual-lined precast concrete sump. The new pump station will replace the existing leachate management system onsite. The county now has remote access capability to monitor and control the pump station from any computer with internet access.
