COMANCO has completed the first 10 acres of a 160-acre cooling pond lining project at a local Florida chemical plant. The crew has been working on composite, textured and smooth HDPE liner installation, and gas venting pipes on this site. So far there have been zero incidents and zero destructive test failures. The crew is being led by Project Supervisor Max Macedo.
Another COMANCO crew is finishing up the last phase of the plant closure side of this chemical plant site. Project Superintendent Gary Mitchell and crew have been working since May of last year to fill, grade, sod, and build access roads around the area. This portion of the work will be done by the end of the month.
