Over the last several weeks COMANCO has been hard at work on a landfill expansion project for Desoto County in Arcadia, FL. Superintendent Matt Carroll and the team have been cutting and placing existing fill material for the embankment phase on each berm along the new 8-acre cell.
To-date, the team has set over 20,000 cubic yards of material and looks to complete embankment next week. Once the embankment phase is complete, the team can focus on fine grading subgrade in preparation for geosynthetic installation. COMANCO is striving to keep SAFETY at the forefront while providing another QUALITY product for the county.
