Moments ago, COMANCO completed the installation of 4” thick Fabriform Filterpoint in North Florida. Two identical pads were installed, for a total of 10,000 square feet. The process began with excavating a 1’ anchor trench and installing 12 oz. geotextile on the prepared subgrade. The Fabriform mats were then put in place on top of the geotextile. The mats were custom fabricated for this project, requiring only one sewn seam down the middle. Finally, a grout mix was pumped into the Fabriform panels to create the desired erosion control mat.
The five-man crew, led by Tommy Terry and Jonothan Mitchell, completed the project in only 2.5 days. Safety Officer Wren Schroeder was on site to assist in making the installation as safe as possible. This project’s success is a direct result of extraordinary teamwork throughout.
