COMANCO Environmental and subcontractor Trader Construction continue to make progress on a gyp stack expansion project in North Florida. Currently, COMANCO is finishing up construction of the fourth of fourteen drain outlets.
In addition, COMANCO has installed 2,000 feet of HDPE drains. Using a GPS excavator, COMANCO excavates the trench for the drain, installs the 6″ HDPE pipe, places gravel around the pipe, and wraps the drain in a 12oz geotextile.
In the next few weeks, COMANCO will be nearing a halfway milestone for liner installation. To date, over five million square feet of 60-mil HDPE textured liner has been installed. Meanwhile, Trader Construction is hard at work constructing a new concrete outfall structure.
