COMANCO is currently working to install 6″ filter point fabriform flumes down the side of a closed landfill cell near Orlando, FL. The two main flumes each measure over 400 LF in length, and vary between 16′ and 45′ in width. The crew led, by Superintendent Chase Yarbrough is also installing three smaller flumes from the top of the landfill to the main ditch where the flumes start. COMANCO is utilizing their own concrete pump to install the flumes, but not before conducting task training on the pump for all employees, to ensure everyone has the knowledge to work safely around the equipment.
