Last week, COMANCO Environmental held a Safety Lunch in recognition of the hard & safe work by the crew working at the Seminole Generating Station in Palatka, FL. A major milestone was reached as the 5 layer geosynthetics system was completed as part of a 5-acre expansion project to SGS’s coal ash landfill. With the liner system finished, the 2′ layer of protective cover soil is now being placed over top.
Supervisors, Bill Newman & Jorge Gomez, have done a great job keeping the crews working productively while maintaining COMANCO’s valued safety culture.
