The COMANCO team completed a ground upgrade project around two sulfur tanks at a Gyp Stack site in Central Florida last week. The access area and ditches around these sulfur tanks needed maintenance, and the crew spent a week at the site grading the access and ditch areas, placing and compacting crushed concrete around the tanks, and sodding the ditch. The team had to get creative in some areas since pipe overhead and at ground-level provided little access for work. The project was completed to the client’s satisfaction with no incidents, below budget, and on time. The crew was led by Site Superintendent Tony Boatman, Project Manager Dragan Milosavljevic, and Project Engineer Nick Bridges.
