COMANCO is proud to announce that our new group of Excavator Operators has completed OSHA Compliant training.

Excavators can be dangerous in untrained hands. COMANCO team members partnered with Ring Power for a two-day training to bring them up to speed on new OSHA compliance requirements and safety standards.
The excavator training consists of classroom theory, written tests, and hands-on operating experience.
Excavator Training Topics:
- Safety regulations and standards.
- Excavator control fundamentals.
- Identifying hazards.
- Procedures for preventative maintenance.
- Pre-operation site inspections.
- Machine orientation and safe operating practices.
- Safe start-up and shutdown procedures.
- Proper steering, maneuvering, and excavating techniques.
- Trenching techniques.
- Machine positioning and control.
- Secure transportation and securement standards.
- Proper loading techniques and standards.
By completing this training, COMANCO employees have renewed their understanding of current health and safety standards, proper operating techniques, and preventative maintenance procedures.
