This past week, COMANCO added two (2) more commercial grade UAVs (‘drones’) to our fleet. CEC’s licensed pilots Evan Bao and Matt DiTarando (Q/C Engineer, I.T Manager respectively) made the trip to Miami to personally pick up the new equipment, as well as, receive valuable, hands-on training from drone specialists. The new equipment and comprehensive training will maximize our Company’s capabilities with this emerging technology.
COMANCO has already seen a great boost in production on the original purchase of UAVs and is committed to expanding. Projects that have utilized this technology so far have resulted in greater efficiency from land surveying and marketing standpoints, all the while minimizing employee exposure to typical job site hazards that are congruous with these tasks. Great job Team, in providing the resources to make our projects safer and more efficient!
