Last week, our second group of COMANCO employees completed their Extended Boom Forklift training.
This course adheres to the standards in OSHA 29 CPR 1910.178 designed for new and experienced operators.
OSHA requires a training program based on the general principles of safe truck operations, the types of equipment used in the workplace, the hazards of the workplace created by the use of the equipment, and the general safety requirements of the OSHA standard.
Certified professional trainer Dan Howard from Safety Solutions & Supply taught the fundamentals of forklift safety and ensured our employees are competent forklift operators.
