This past Friday, COMANCO Environmental distributed quarterly safety gift cards to a 12-man crew working in Pocatello, Idaho. Project Engineer, Nick Rauh, and Superintendent, Martin Calderon, distributed the cards after the crew completed the installation of over 320,000 SF of HDPE liner on a slope expansion project. The crew did a fantastic job on this project which required the crew to be tied off at all times while on the steep slopes. All employees wore life vests and harnesses for the duration of the project while installing the 60-mil smooth HDPE liner on slopes that varied from 3:1 to 1.5:1. The crew faced, rain, snow, wind, and below freezing temperatures throughout the project and did an excellent job of working in an efficient and safe manner.
